Emotional Rather blasts 'new journalism order'Former CBS News anchor Dan Rather said Monday that there is a climate of fear running through newsrooms stronger than he has ever seen in his more than four-decade career.
Might it be well-deserved?
"They were willing to speak truth to power," Rather said
...while choking back tears. But "speaking truth" until recently went only in one direction: from former hippies to The Establishment. But Dan Rather cries when people confront him with the truth about his untruthful and biased "news" "reporting".
We've made another first down, folks. We're moving the chains.
